James "Bill" Coen

James (Bill) Coen, Sr., age 81, passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at his home. Bill was born in Guysville, Ohio on November 11, 1928; he is the son of the late James and Rosa Belle Coen. Bill is also preceded in death by his brother, Chuck; and sisters, Mary, Clara and Carol. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during Korea. Bill was a member of East Livingston Baptist Church and the Reynoldsburg VFW. He loved to garden, growing wonderful tomatoes and flowers. Bill will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his love for his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Patty; children, James William (Chris) Coen, Jr., Judy K. (Lee) Clark, Crystal L. (Dean) Kohler, Richard A. (Jerri) Coen, Randy (JoAnn) Butcher, Larry (Robin) Schobelock and Sandy (Jeff) Wyrick; 16 grandchildren; and brothers, David, John, Donald and Fred. Family will receive friends on Monday, August 30, 2010 from 5-7pm at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 East Livingston Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43232; where services will begin at 7pm. Dr. George E.
