Jim was dedicated to his family and loyal to his friends. A great listener, always giving the best advice; without judgement. A man many trusted. He was known for being an ethical business man, throughout the years in the construction business. Jim's greatest passion though was his wife, children, and grandchildren. He lived and worked hard every day to provide for his family. Jim also had unwavering faith in the Lord. He prayed every night before falling asleep, even in his final days and hours. He was ready to meet Jesus and go to his heavenly home, where he would finally be with his loved ones. "Daddy, our loves goes with you, but your love will exist in all of us".
James is preceded in death by his parents, James and Helen Crooks; his loving wife of 58 years, Barbara Crooks; daughter, Cindy Crooks; granddaughter, Amber Crooks; and brother-in-law, Fred Ater.
James will be greatly missed by his daughters, Cheryl Dingess, Carrie (David) Spring, and Christy Keynes; grandchildren, Michael (Ashley) Dingess, Danielle (Jose') Sosa, and Kirsten Keynes; great-granddaughter, Aubrey Dingess; sister, Judy Ater; many cousins, family members, and close friends.
