James Joseph Graham

James J. "JJ" Graham, age 73, died Tuesday, February 23, 2016 in Naples FL. He was born November 13, 1942 in Columbus, OH to the late William E. and Kathryn L. (Colburn) Graham and is also preceded in death by his sister, Mary Jayne Graham. James is survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty (Morgan) Graham; sons, James J. Graham II (Melissa) and William D. Graham (Bridgett); grandchildren, Jen Heideman, James J. Graham III, and Hunter W. Graham; sister, Nancy Boehm; nieces, nephews, other family and friends. James is a US Marine Corps Veteran. He served for 25 years with the Columbus Police Department where he retired in 1990. He also retired from Sears and Roebuck after 20 years of service; Collier County Florida School Board after 15 years of service. James also had a 35 year partnership in a family business. His memberships included Westgate Masonic Lodge #623; F.O.P.; Police and Fire Retirees of Ohio; Roadmen Car Club; NHRA; Corvette Club of America; and A.R.C.A. Friends may call 3-6 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2016 at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL 3920 Broadway, Grove City where the Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m. Monday. Marti Hurd officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in James' memory may be made to Nationwide Children's Hospital 700 Children's Drive, Columbus, OH 43205.
