James Franklin Lucas, age 82, passed away February 7, 2020 surrounded by his loving wife and family. He was born in Edsel, KY on March 31, 1937 to the late Raymond and Sarah Pennington Lucas. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Chuck and Ray Lucas, and stepson, Virgil. He is survived by his wife, Edna (Ball) Lucas; sister, Nancy Fraley; 3 daughters, Julie, Jill, and Jacqueline and their families; his stepchildren, Geneva Lynn, James, Carlos, La Quita, De Wayne, Justin, and Jo Wanda; 2 special sons, Chris Stiltner and Allen Pyle Jr.; numerous brother and sister in laws, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. James was a Korean War veteran. He served his country with great love and pride. He retired from Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC). James loved playing golf, and spending time with his family especially his wife, his grandchildren Jessica Kay Lynn, PJ, Jasmine, and his great grandson Elijah. He was loved by everyone who knew him and will be missed by all. A memorial service is being planned (time and location to be determined).
