

James M. Lynch, Jr. age 90, of Hilliard, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2009 with his loving family by his side. He was born September 16, 1919 in Ashtabula, Ohio to James M. and Margaret M. (Dugan) Lynch, Sr. Preceded in death by wife, Ardath Hansen Lynch. Survived by daughters: Marian Lynch Ruff and her husband, Stacey Ruff, Lt. Col. USMC (Ret), Jamison Lynch Landsman and her husband, Capt. Jeffrey Landsman, USNR and Karen May; 7 grandchildren: Caitlan Ruff, Fallon Ruff, Sean Ruff, Jacquelyn Landsman, Jessica Landsman, Mo Ruff and Jenna Landsman; brother-in-law, James Talmage; sister-in-law, Mary Ewing Lynch; and many nieces and nephews. James was a veteran of the U.S. Army, WWII, Army Signal Corps. Retired from H.J. Heinz Co. after many years of service. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Buckeye Club and was a volunteer at OSU for many years. He was an avid OSU Buckeye fan and loved golf. Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 7-9 on Wednesday at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church, 4475 Dublin Road, Hilliard, Ohio 43026.
