James Ellis May, age 81, of Columbus, died December 4, 2016 at Mount Carmel Medical Center. He was born in War Eagle, WV, served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War, and retired from Boehinger Ingelheim. He is survived by his wife, Florence May; son, Michael Carter; son James (Elizabeth) May; grandson, Robert May; granddaughter, Stephanie May; great grandsons, Logan and Timmy May; siblings, Carl, Betty, and "Bass". Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday December 7, 2016 at Hope and Heart Funeral Home by Schoedinger, 3030 West Broad Street, where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 8, 2016 with interment to follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
