James Edward “Jim” Maynard, Jr., age 40, of Columbus, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on April 6, 1971 to the late James Edward Maynard, Sr. and Judy Wright. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Anthony Dion Metzger. Jim is survived by his daughter, Jamie Slayton and her mother, Tabitha Slayton; siblings, John Maynard, Jason Walz, and Francis Hendricks; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Friends may call on Thursday, February 2, 2012 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio.
