James E. McCarty, age 61, passed away at Berger Hospital on Wednesday, August 9, 2011. James was born on March 30, 1950 in Zanesville, OH to James and Virginia McCarty. He graduated from New Lexington High School, and then went to Miami University in Oxford, OH. He received his MBA from Franklin University. James had a successful career at Berger Hospital. He had many interests in life, but he was most passionate about music. He is preceded in death by his mother, Virginia McCarty. He is survived by his father, James McCarty; sister, Jane (Vic) Belmondo; and special friend, Connie Melton. A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 pm, Friday, August 12, 2011 at Gio’s Pizza and Pub, 114 S. Court St., Circleville, OH.. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jim’s memory may be made to Berger Hospice, 1170 N. Court St., # B, Circleville, OH 43113.
