James Edward McHugh, age 74, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2019, three days after his 49th wedding anniversary with his wife, Joan. Jim was born on October 22, 1945 in Lackawanna, NY to the late Edward and Genevieve McHugh. He earned a Bachelors Degree from Iowa University, where he played football. Jim also served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He will be greatly missed for his sense of humor and his love of cooking. Jim is survived by his loving wife, Joan; daughter, Megan; brother, Tom (Carol) McHugh; and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at St. Brendan The Navigator Church of Hilliard, 4475 Dublin Road, Hilliard, Ohio 43026. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Lewis Center, Ohio.
