James A. Ray

James A. Ray, age 81, of Reynoldsburg and formerly of Naples, Florida, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2010. James was born on August 14, 1928 in Kirkersville, Ohio; he is the son of the late Samuel and Mary Ray. He is also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Elaine Ray; sister, Nancy Ann Heffelfinger; and son-in-law, Jerry Lewis. Jim owned R&H Oil Company in Kirkersville and he and Mary were former owners and operators of Dairy Queen Stores in Naples. Jim was a member of Seagate Baptist Church in Naples and Jersey Baptist in Columbus. Survivors include daughter, Sharon Lewis; granddaughters, Nicole Lewis and Elaine Ray; 2 great granddaughters; and nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 from 6-8pm at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 East Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230.
