James "Jim" Lee Roe, age 78, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 31, 2019. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on February 25, 1941 and was a graduate of South High School. Jim retired from Midwest Fender after many years of dedicated service. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, fast cars, and cigars. He also enjoyed trips to Myrtle Beach. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Carolyn Sue Roe who passed away in 2015. Jim is survived by his son, Christopher (Cindy) Roe; daughter, Shelby (Michael) Bolander; grandchildren, Siera, Payge, Emily, Sarah, and Jacob; great grandson, Grayson; brother, John "Jack" Roe; good friends and golfing buddies, Dennis Smith, and Bob Cruikshank; and his beloved dog, Bo.
