James E. Rose

James E. Rose, passed away on Friday evening, April 24, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born January 29, 1928 to the late Eldon and Ora (Hamilton) Rose in Greasy Ridge, Ohio in Lawrence County. Jim graduated in 1945 from Waterloo High School. After numerous years of dedicated service, Jim retired from Dealer's Lumber. He is survived by loving wife of 64 years, Vera Ernestine (Justice) Rose; children, Tom (Rhonda) Rose and Vicki (Joe) McGuire; grandchildren, Loretta, Marlene, Elizabeth and Nathan; 4 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Bob Justice; sister-in-law, Wanda Dennison; special niece, Sarah J. Rose; and many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Edward, Ruth and Mary; and granddaughter, Mary. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM, Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, where family will receive friends from 12 noon until the time of service.
