
Strong – overcoming challenges for the sake of his family, building his own business
Loving – keeping us close, yet showing us the world from Broadway to Canada to Great
Britain, gathering with his brother and sisters whenever possible
Creative – acting, building, directing, and co-creating an iconic community theater in
Columbus; cooking with Harry, Nellie, and Michele
Erudite– his delight in trivia and language led to a love of trivia games, auditioning for
Jeopardy, and successfully completing many NYT diagram-less crossword puzzles
Loyal – a steadfast Columbus Crew, New York Mets, and New York Giants fan through
winning and losing seasons
He loved well and was well loved. He will be sorely missed but will rest in our hearts forever.
We will celebrate his life at an open house at our home later this spring on Saturday, April 12, from 1:30-4:30 p.m. Donations in his memory may be made to Gallery Players at the Leo Yassenoff Jewish Center (the Scheer Family Fund), Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids, or the Columbus Crew Foundation.
