James C. Van Arsdale

James "Jim" C. Van Arsdale, age 57, passed away at Kobacker House on Monday, May 12, 2014. He was born September 14, 1956 to the late Charles and Barbara Lee (Lindenmeyer) Van Arsdale in Columbus, Ohio. Jim was a member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church. He was a Parts Manager for Clintonville Auto and enjoyed working with technology. Jim was a graduate of Whetstone High School. Jim is preceded in death by his parents and his step-mother, Marilyn Van Arsdale. He is survived by loving wife of over 36 years, Lynette (Stein) Van Arsdale; children, Jeff (Summer) Van Arsdale, Heather Van Arsdale and her fiance', Steve Bartolone; brothers, Gary (Marcia) and Steve Van Arsdale; many nieces, nephews, extended family and numerous friends, as well as his beloved pets, dog Bassy and cat Nugent. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM, May 15, 2014 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, where family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Rev. Jim Wilson officiating.
