James Arthur Wells, age 93, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Brookdale Pinnacle, Grove City, Ohio. James was born on December 22, 1925 in Middletown, Ohio. Preceded in death by his parents, William Lyle and Thelma (Adkins) Wells; wife, Dee Ann Wells; daughter, Elizabeth Wells-Hamilton; son, David M. Wells; brother, Milton and Marilyn Wells. Survived by his granddaughters, Katey and Molly. James played basketball for Middletown and Ohio State University. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1943 to 1946. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery in Middletown, Ohio. No visitation, no flowers, no service. Cremation and arrangements handled by Heart and Hope by Schoedinger, 3030 W.
