Jan Elizabeth Todd

Jan Elizabeth Todd, 76, was given her angel wings on July 9, 2021. Her final days were spent with her beloved husband and family. In addition, her kitty cat Cookie stayed by her mommies' side. Jan was born in Circleville Ohio on January 3, 1945 and graduated from St. Joseph's Academy ~ School for Girls in 1963. Jan is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, George C. Todd; beloved daughter, Angela (Doug) Rush; adored grandchildren, Austin (Miranda) Rush, Zachary Rush and Skyler Rush; sister, Jill Jenkins; brother and sister-in-law, Rich and Jean Valentine and sister-in-law, Peggy Blackburn; also many nieces, nephews and of course friends. Jan was preceded in death by her beloved mother Betty Lou nee Jackson - Kurtz; father and stepmother, Richard and Audrey Valentine; mother and father-in-law, John and Margaret Todd; brother-in-law, Pete Blackburn; and dear friends, Danny and June Yungfleisch. Jan was not afraid of hard work as she worked for 25 years for Lazarus Downtown where she retired and then another 10+ years for Alliance Data Systems. Through the years, she loved getting together with the girls after work for their monthly euchre parties.

However, Jan's absolute very favorite thing to do was dote on all three of her beloved grandchildren.

Your wings were ready but our hearts were not.

There will be a Mass at Our Lady of Sorrow Chapel at St. Joseph’s Cemetery on SR 23 Lockbourne, Ohio on Friday July 16th @11am. Everyone is welcome back to my home after the service.
