Jane Gregoroff

Jane was born in Mercer, Pennsylvania, the youngest child of Thomas and Alice McClain. She was a graduate of Mercer High School and Penn State University, where Jane majored in elementary education. She married Tom Gregoroff in July 1960, then they moved together to Columbus, Ohio, followed by St. Louis, MO, Houston, TX and Santa Clara, CA, before permanently settling in Columbus, OH in 1971 with their three children.

Jane was actively involved at The Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in the choir and women’s ministries. She also enjoyed sewing, Swedish weaving, and reading. In her retirement years, she and Tom learned to square dance. Together, they enjoyed spending weekends camping in their RV with their square dancing club, and wintering in South Texas, in an RV park dedicated to their square dancers. They danced their way all over South Texas, and even across the bridge into Mexico.

Jane was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Tom Gregoroff, her parents, Tom and Alice McClain, and her siblings, Harriet Lopez, and Thomas McClain. Jane is survived by her children Felicia (Alec) Hail, Dean Gregoroff, and David (Terri) Gregoroff. Her grandchildren Emily (Caleb) Harmes, Anna Hail, Elijah hail, Allison (Thomas) Trott, Ethan Hail, and Kaylee Gregoroff. Great grandchildren, Judah and Finley Harmes.

Family will accept friends on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Advantage by Schoedinger North, 5554 Karl Rd. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 10:00am with Pastor Jeremy Moyers officiating. Jane will be laid to rest at Kingwood Memorial Park next to her loving husband.
