Jane Knisley Stiverson

Jane Knisley Stiverson died on March 19, 2025 at age 94. She was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on April 11, 1930 to the late Clarence H. and Mary Baum Knisley, was married June 12, 1954 to James R. Stiverson who preceded her on January 6, 1989. Also preceding her were a brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Marjorie Knisley. She is survived by son Thomas J. (Janis) Stiverson and daughter Charlotte (Dale Killian) Stiverson, sister-in-law Linda (Bob) Wilson, and many nieces and nephews.

Jane graduated from Bexley High School in 1948, attended Denison University where she was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority, and graduated in 1952 from The Ohio State University. After graduation, she taught kindergarten in the Grandview and Bexley school systems. She was a member and deacon of Broad Street Presbyterian Church, a founding member of Sun, Fun and Flowers Garden Club, a member of Pi Lambda Theta, a member of The Columbus Club, and other organizations.

A graveside service will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery in Granville, Ohio, with a small service for family and friends at Broad Street Presbyterian Church on April 11, 2025 at 11:00AM. A family gathering will take place at The Columbus Club for a Celebration of Life.
