Janice M Lisle

Janice M. (Mitchell) Lisle, age 59, of Hilliard, passed away peacefully Monday, March 14, 2011 at her home with her family by her side. She was born August 23, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio and was a 1969 graduate of St. Joseph Academy and graduated from Ohio Dominican. Jan retired from the U.S. Government. Following her retirement, Jan became a realtor with HER Real Living. She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Marvin J. Lisle; granddaughter, Ashley Jane Cline; father, Arthur Mitchell and brothers-in-law, Brian Farrell and Ron Drake. Jan is survived by her son, Scott (Yvonne) Lisle; daughters, Nikki (Ray) Cline, Gina Lisle and Angela Lisle; mother, Jane (Graham) Mitchell; sisters and brothers, Martha (Mark) Montgomery, Joan Farrell, Dan (Nancy) Mitchell, Patsy (John) Stofira, Mark (Cathy) Mitchell, Steve (Pam) Mitchell, Jerry (Sharon) Mitchell, Joy (Rick) Janczak, Marty (Colleen) Mitchell and Paul Mitchell; special aunt, Julie Graham; many nieces, nephews; other relatives and many close friends. Jan had a strong Christian faith and could often be found helping others when they were in need. A devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, she was always happiest when sharing a homemade meal with family, especially Friday nights at her mother’s. A cancer survivor of 40 years, Jan had a strong and courageous spirit through all her medical challenges always with a positive and inspirational attitude. She loved life and being a Grandma. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road, where funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 18, 2011. Pastor Tom Mitchell officiating.
