Janice Yug Morris

Janice Yug Morris, age 76, was received into the Lord's loving arms on July 12th, 2017. She is survived by her sisters, Georgeann Yug and Barbara Reid; son, Evan; granddaughter, Lilla; and close friend, Karen Hjelm. She was born to the late George and Jessie (McCray) Yug in Cleveland on July 13th, 1940. She grew up in Willoughby Hills, later moving to Columbus to complete her education at The Ohio State University. She graduated from OSU with a Bachelor of Science in Education in 1969, and was baptized as an adult at Hoge Memorial Presbyterian Church in December of the same year. She joined Covenant Presbyterian Church in 1996. She especially loved teaching, gardening, and travel. Jan is blessed to have made many friends at Covenant, Hoge Memorial, Columbus Public Schools, Riverside Methodist Hospital, and among her neighbors. Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 1:00-2:00pm at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2070 Ridgecliff Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221. Funeral service will follow immediately at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers please donate to a charity of your choice, or the Covenant Christian Education Fund. Arrangements are entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL.
