

Janice L. Snyder, 66, of Kingston, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, February 18, 2011. She was born April 27, 1944 in Circleville, the daughter of the late Roy and Mary Ellen (Kochensparger) Leist. She was a member of Chillicothe Baptist church where she had participated in the Singing Christmas Tree. She enjoyed writing stories, needlepoint and watching and collecting dvds. She was cherished by her family for her calming advice and had a knack for looking at the other side of things. She is survived by her loving husband, Clarence “Whity” Snyder whom she married on August 17, 1968; her daughters, Angela Bledsoe, Letha (Dan) Schrader and Jessica Snyder. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Aaron, Amanda and Christopher Bledsoe; and Katie, D.J. and Sami Schrader. She was also blessed with four great-grandchildren, Natasha, Abigayle, Donovan and Trenton. She leaves behind brothers, Roger (Ginny) Leist, Don (Katie) Leist, Larry Leist and Charles (Jan) Leist; and sisters, Gloria (Dick) Henson, Donna Hall and Mona Anderson; also, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m.Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home, 151 E. Main St., Circleville, with Pastor John Burris officiating. Burial will be in Hitler-LudwigCemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Visit
