Jean Corbin

Flora Jean Corbin, age 87, passed away Friday, December 12, 2014 at Friendship Village of Columbus. She was born in Jackson, Ohio on July 29, 1927 to the late Carl B. and Garnett Chick. Jean was a 1945 graduate of Jackson High School and retired from Columbia Gas of Ohio. She is preceded in death by husband, Jack E. Corbin; parents: Carl B. Chick and Garnett (Perry) Chick; brothers: James J. Chick and Thomas A. Chick; sister-in-Law: Barbara J. Chick; great grandson: Dylan James Giles. Jean is survived by children, Melissa (Lee) McBride, Cindy Corbin, Kathy Mossor, Jack A. Corbin, Michael (Traci Kitchen) Corbin and Andy (Michele) Corbin; brother, Carl B. Chick Jr.; grandchildren, Cara (Scott) Will, Kacy McDonough, Cory (Lauren) Hicks, Josh (Britny) Hicks, Chris (Candy) Brockman, Ryan (Tracy) Brockman, Jenna Mossor, Jordan (Teala) Corbin, Jacob (Julia) Corbin, Michelle (Nathan Wollenberg) Corbin, Allison (Jeff) Yoakam, Amanda Corbin, Kyle Corbin; along with 14 great grandchildren many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Friday at 6 PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, where family will receive friends from 4-7pm.
