Jean Elizabeth Peterson

Jean Elizabeth (Maxwell) Peterson, 95, passed away June 12, 2012 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Earl (Mary Florence) Maxwell, her husband, Kenneth; her brothers Stanley Maxwell and Theodore (Sara Jane) Maxwell. She is survived by her sons, Robert (Carolyn) and Bruce (Sharon), her daughter Karen (Paul) Glenn; grandchildren, Craig (Diane) Peterson, Jennifer (Kevin) James, Bradford (Jo) Peterson, Brian (Catherine) Peterson, Katharine Peterson, Kevin Maloney and Jill Maloney; step-grandchildren Patrick (Chelsea) King, Kathryn (Andrew) Brewer, Caroline ( Christopher) Daniel and Kristopher King; numerous great grandchildren; nephews Thomas Maxwell, Phillip Peterson and John Peterson; nieces Diane, Jane and Elaine Peterson; sister-in-law Marie Maxwell and Margaret Peterson. Jean was born on May 19, 1917 in Columbus and was a 1940 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Education. A lifelong resident of Bexley, she was a co-owner of The Columbus Serum Company from 1970-1989.
