Jeanne Lay Browne

Jeanne Lay Browne of Worthington died Friday, August 20, 2010 at home after a long battle with cancer. Born May 16, 1946 in Elyria, OH to the late Leonard and Helen Dellefield. A 1968 graduate of Miami University and a graduate of Leadership Worthington. Her various employers were The Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital, The Arthritis Foundation and The Multiple Sclerosis Society. She was past president of the Memorial Tournament Womens Committee and an active member of Maple Grove United Methodist Church. Jeanne was a loving, devoted mother, grandmother and friend. She is preceded in death by husband Graham Browne. She is survived by two sons Chris (Maggie) Lay and Ryan Lay, two grandchildren Spencer and Cameron, two step children Erin and Shane Wallace-Browne. A memorial service will be held Friday at 1 PM with calling from 11 AM until time of service at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St. (1/2 mile south of I-270) with Rev.
