Jeanne A. Siekmann

Jeanne A. Siekmann, 96, of Columbus, formerly of Cincinnati, passed away on January 29, 2019. She was born on January 3, 1923 to Charles and Emma (Lang) Aerni. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years Robert Siekmann and adored Aunt Norma Hopping.

Jeanne graduated from Withrow High School in Cincinnati and was Secretary of her class and President of The Girls Athletic Association. She then attended the University of Cincinnati and graduated with a BA in Business. Jeanne also enjoyed gardening, sewing, and playing bridge with her many close friends. She was also a long-time member of The Cincinnati Women’s Club.

Jeanne will be greatly missed by her son Bob Siekmann and wife Robin; daughter Nancy Collins and husband Tom. She will also be remembered by her five grandchildren Ryan Siekmann, Abbey Lugo, Aaron Siekmann, Carrie Collins, and Christopher Collins; and forever cherished by her great grandchildren.

Jeanne’s funeral service will be held on Monday February 4, 2019 at Arlington Memorial Gardens in Cincinnati. A Celebration of Jeanne’s Life will be held at Brookdale Trillium Crossing, 3500 Trillium Crossing, Columbus, on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at 11am-1pm.
