Jeanne Marie Teele

Jeanne M. Teele, age 92, one of the sweetest women you'll ever meet, passed into the arms of Jesus on September 27, 2021. She was born February 26, 1929 in Waverly, Ohio. Preceded in death by parents, Myrle Heustis, Clarice (Conkel) (Heustis) Strayer, stepfather Paul Strayer and nephew Eugene Brzozowski. Survived by daughter Jacqueline and son Jay and their father John Teele. She was affectionately known as Aunt Jeanne to her nieces and nephews, Nancy (Mike) Peters, Tom Brzozowski, Rebecca (Julian) Graystone. Regina Brzozowski; and several beloved great-nieces and great-nephews. Jeanne was employed by the Ohio Bureau of Unemployment statistics department, North American Aviation, scheduling department, Fruehauf Corp accounting department and Heritage Health Care as a caregiver. Jeanne graduated from Stockdale (Ohio) High School in 1945 and was a faithful member of Franklin United Brethren Church of New Albany where she participated in the choir, deacon board and care ministry. She also volunteered at Columbus State Hospital for many years. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3pm on Friday, October 8, 2021 (with gathering time from 2-3pm) at Franklin Church, 7171 Central College Rd., New Albany, OH 43054; Pastor Mike Brown officiating.
