Jeffrey A Amann

passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016,

at his residence following a courageous

bout with cancer. He was born March 11, 1959

in Circleville, OH, the son of Leland “Lee” and

Kate (Leasure) Amann. He was preceded in death

by his father, Lee; his brother, Ronnie; and sister,

Brenda Wolfe. Jeff is survived by his loving wife

of 35 years, Krista (Arledge) Amann; sons, Jeff (Kara)

Amann and Matthew (Mandy) Amann; grandchildren,

Brendan, Maci, Bella Rose, Jake, Adrianna and Michael;

mother, Kate Amann; sisters, Martha Clay, Pam (Shelby) McManus,

Patty Davis, Kathy (Ron) Thaxton, Phyllis Hamilton and

Jackie (John) Figgins; brothers, Steve, Mike (Kelly), Danny

and Troy Amann; mother-in-law, Marilyn Arledge; brother-in-law,

Jim (Rhonda) Arledge; and many nieces and nephews.

Jeff was a laid back kind of guy who enjoyed NASCAR, the OSU Buckeyes and

working on cars. He loved his family dearly and

was especially excited about his newest grandchild, Bella,

whom he called “Baby Blue” because of her blue eyes.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, October 25, 2016

at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home with Chaplain

Jim Ferrell officiating. Burial will be in Hitler-Ludwig Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4:00-7:00 PM Monday, October 24th at

the funeral home. The family is extremely grateful to Mandy for

all the care and help she gave Jeff during his illness. In lieu of

flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Adena Hospice,
