Jeffrey Bush

Jeffrey John Bush, 62, of Columbus, passed away on October 5, 2021. He was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on November 24, 1958 to John Paul and Peggy Jean (Reames) Bush. In addition to his father, Jeffrey was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Bush.

Jeffrey Bush was well known in his various circles of life for his overall warmth and caring personality. Whether it was a bear hug, strong handshake, or simply kind words, he will always be remembered for being a genuine and giving man. After graduating from the University of Kentucky, he went into the finance and mortgage industry where he made a career for almost 40 years. He enjoyed taking that hospitable approach and helping his clients realize their dreams of owning a home. He loved his Kentucky Wildcats, THE Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Bengals, and Cincinnati Reds and was often found rooting on his team with an energetic tailgate or cookout with friends.

Jeffrey will be greatly missed by his children, Danielle and Derek Bush; mother, Peggy Merges; brother, Joe Bush; and grandsons, Cameron and Alec.

A celebration of Jeffrey's life will be held at a memorial service on November 19th in Columbus, Ohio and all friends and family are welcome to attend. Arrangements have been entrusted to the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON Funeral Home.
