

Jeffrey Todd Malone, age 61, of London, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2025, in London, Ohio. Born on July 22, 1963, in Nelsonville, Ohio, Jeff was the cherished son of Charles Lee Malone and the late Mildred Guisinger. He will be remembered for his larger-than-life personality, kindness, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends.
Jeff was known for his passionate involvement in life. A proud United States Air Force veteran, his sense of service and commitment to others was evident in all his endeavors. Above all, Jeff was a devoted father. His children, Celina Malone and Michael Vandergriff, were his greatest achievements and the source of immense joy. Jeff’s father, Charles Lee Malone, and brother, Patrick Malone, were especially proud of him for quickly mastering the family’s moving business. He became known as the “King of Tetris,” skillfully packing and loading anything, making it look like a perfect puzzle.
In addition to his love for his family, Jeff enjoyed a variety of interests and hobbies. He found peace and relaxation in fishing, often spending hours enjoying the outdoors. He was an avid conversationalist who loved connecting with people, sharing stories, and making others think. His warm smile could light up any room, and his infectious laugh will be missed by all who knew him.
A creative spirit, Jeff had a special gift for drawing and used his talent to bring joy to others. He was an active member of his community and cherished his time spent with loved ones. His favorite color, red, reflected his vibrant, bold, and passionate nature.
In addition to his children, Jeff is survived by his father, Charles Lee Malone; siblings Patrick Malone, Chuck Malone Jr., Kim Malone, and Kelli Malone; Cousin Richard Stephenson, Uncle Chuck Miller, and many other extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Guisinger, and brothers Kenneth Godke and Mike Malone.
Family will receive friends Sunday, January 19, 2025, from 2-3PM at SCHOEDINGER EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5360 E. Livingston Ave, with a memorial service to follow at 3PM.
Flowers or memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice (preferably cancer-related) in Jeff’s memory.
Jeff’s family and friends will miss him dearly—his smile, engaging conversations, and heartwarming sense of humor. He will always be remembered for the love and joy he brought into the lives of everyone he met.
