Jesse Morris

Jesse Morris, age 16 of Columbus, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012. Jesse was born and raised in Columbus, son of George “Chuck” Korff, III and Martha Morris. Jesse was a very happy and joyful young man, who like most teenage boys, could sometimes be a bit ornery. He liked to tease and joke around with folks, had a great sense of humor, and always managed to put a smile on everyone’s face he came into contact with. Jesse was currently was a freshman at Beechcroft High School. He was great with any kind of electronic gadgets and loved spending time playing video games, especially PS3. Jesse also enjoyed following Naruto, and animated series, but most of all, Jesse was passionate about his loving family and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with them. Throughout Jesse’s life he faced many challenges. Through it all however, he always persevered with strength and courage. He was an inspiration to family and friends and touched the lives of countless others. He will be greatly missed by his parents, George “Chuck” Korff, III and Martha Morris; siblings, Tiffany, Ashley, and Bryan Morris; grandparents, Ellen (David) Henley, Jackie Rutherford, and George Korff, Jr; “brother”, Josh Landis; half brothers and sister, Amber Maynard and Robbie and Andy Rife; nieces and nephews, Jordan Landis, Zayden Morris, Janessa Dawson, and Christopher James, Jr; aunts and uncles, Kathryn (Andy) Avila, Darrell Morris, Nancy (Curtis) Wilson, Bessie McCoy, Philip Morris, Cody Henley, Eddie McCoy, Christina (Tony) Bakes, Lisa Tussy, Robert, Stevie, Ilo, Greggy, Freddie, Jennifer, and Richard Eisnaugle; and many other cousins, extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 5 P.M. Sunday, March 11, 2012 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., where family will receive friends from 1 P.M. until time of service.
