

Jack Bainter was born on May 3, 1938 and died on June 19, 2021 at the age of 83 years old. He is predeceased by his parents, John and Mary Alice Bainter. He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Louderback) Bainter; daughters, Kimberly (Steven) Thomas and Elizabeth (Michael) Samuels; grandson, Jack Thomas and step-grandson, Scott Thomas; brother, David (Eileen) Bainter; nieces and nephews, Erin (Al) Duncan, Laura (Woody) Kirkwood, Terry (Debbie) Christy, Tammy (John) Raines, Tracey (Craig) Davidson, Todd (Julie) Christy, Tim Christy, Vicki Gall and Rusty (Jodyne) Gall.
Jack attended North High School and graduated in 1956. He served our Country in the United States Marine Corp and worked for Western Electric (ATandT) for many years. Jack created and ran Regional Plastics Incorporated. He is a Past Commander with the Columbus Sail and Power Squadron. He was a member of the Neoacacia Masonic Lodge 595.
Jack loved to be on the water, travel and spend time with friends and family. One of his fondest memories was cruising the North Channel and Intracoastal waterway and spending time in the Western National Parks with Nancy. In addition to these passions, he also enjoyed collecting wines from around the world.
