John O. "Jack" Boyle

John O. “Jack” Boyle, age 83, of Columbus, died Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Arlington Court Nursing Center. Jack was born March 8, 1929 in Sharon, PA. He was a graduate of Miami (OH) University and was a US Army veteran. Jack was one of the three founding partners of the CPA firm, GBQ Partners and a past member of Brookside Country Club. He was also an enthusiastic longtime volunteer at Columbus COSI. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, John and Nell (Connelly) Boyle; son, James P. Boyle; sisters, Mary Fagan and Sally Stanek and brother, James F. Boyle. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Vivian; sons, Sean and Colin; grandsons Aidhan and Liam Boyle, all of Columbus; sisters, Ellen (Bill) Erb, Toledo, OH and Alice Orr, Erie, PA; brothers, Tom (Sharon) Boyle, Orlando, FL and Michael Boyle, Columbus and many nieces and nephews. Donations in Jack’s memory may be made to a charity or organization of choice. Family will receive friends Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Brookside Golf & Country Club, 2770 W. Dublin-Granville Rd. between the hours of 1-3 p.m. where a Celebration of Jack’s life will be held at 1:30 p.m. The family wishes to thank Arlington Court and HomeReach Hospice for the exceptional care Jack received during his stay.
