John Ernest Callahan

A devoted husband, father and grandfather, he will be deeply missed. John and his loving wife, Annette Adkins Callahan, were married August 26, 1961. He is also survived by his children: Mark (Lori) Callahan, Laura Kay McKay, Andrew (Traci) Callahan and Rebekah (Scott) Craft; grandchildren: Emily, April, Kyle, Kevin, Ryan, Ian, Chalyse, Ashley, Haley, Sarah and Nathan; brother Ronald (Nancy) Callahan and their family.

A devoted Christian, John was a member of The Gideons International and The Gathering of Men. He and Annette were active members of their church, Westerville Church of the Nazarene. John retired from Borden Co. after 20 years of dedicated service.

Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230. His Funeral Service will be held at 11am, Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Westerville Church of the Nazarene, 355 Cherrington Road, Westerville, Ohio 43081. Pastor Mark Ledford presiding. Interment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
