John H. Cowell

John H. Cowell, 62, of Columbus, OH passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2014. John was born on April 23, 1951 in Johnstown, OH to the late James and Elsie May Cowell. John is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Wanda; children, John H. Cowell, Jr., Tony Cowell, Theresa Williams, Karen Adkins, Mary H. Davis-Fisher (Michael); son-in-law, Roy Dale Adkins; grandchildren, Christopher Michael Davis (Katherine), Jason Adkins (Rachel), Joseph Daniel Fisher; great-grandson, Blaze Michael Adkins; sister, Vickie Lilly (James); brother, James Cowell.

John was a member of the Crossroads Baptist Church. He was employed for many years at Jim Keim Ford and also owned his own business, Chubb’s Detail Shop. John and Wanda “Blondie” shared a love for old cars and ‘showing them off.’

Friends may call from 5 to 7 pm, Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High Street, Worthington, OH where the funeral service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Paul Gabriel, officiating. Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, Reynoldsburg, OH.
