John Allen Fihe

John A. Fihe, 76 of Delaware, OH; passed away Sunday August 2, 2015 at home surrounded by his family. He was born May 23, 1939 to the late John and Mary Louise Fihe. John was a 1963 graduate of Bowling Green State University and served in the United States Army. He was the owner of Central Ohio Engine Rebuilders and a member of Liberty Presbyterian Church, Goodale Lodge #372 F&AM and Achbar Grotto. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking as well as traveling with his wife. John’s true passion most of all was engine building and Stock Car Racing. Besides his parents John is preceded in death by his brother, Frederick. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan; children, Casey (Scott Blackwell) Ganger, David (Barbi) Fihe, Robert Fihe and Joseph (Diana) Fihe; grandchildren, Anthony Fihe, Katherine Fihe, Jacob Ganger, Christopher Fihe, Caroline Fihe, Patrick Szymczak, Marie Fihe, Martin Fihe and Jack Fihe; brother, William Fihe and sister, Caroline (Don) Carrigan. A funeral service will be held Wednesday 11:00am at LIBERTY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH 7080 Olentangy River Rd, Delaware, OH. where friends may call 1 hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Kingwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Liberty Presbyterian Church or American Brain Tumor Association.
