John Joseph Gerardi

John Joseph Gerardi, 49, of Columbus, died Saturday, January 9, 2016 at home in the arms of his wife. He was born May 4, 1966 in Columbus to the late Dominic and Mary (Cogan) Gerardi. He was a graduate of Beechcroft High School and served his country in the U.S. Army. For 16 years John was a scheduler/planner for Anheuser- Busch. He enjoyed guns, reloading ammunition, cars, woodworking and Legos. He and Alex traveled when they were in the military. Some of their favorite places were San Diego, Boston and Las Vegas. John was a good husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. His goal was to make people happy and loved to make them laugh. He is preceded in death by his brother James and his nephew Tyler. He is survived by Tamara "Alex" his loving wife of 28 years, 2 sons John (Angeline) Gerardi II and Nic (Chelsea) Gerardi, grandson Leo, sister Lisa Gerardi and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 2 PM until time of service at 5 PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd.
