John A. Hargis

John A Hargis Sr. of Grove City age 71, passed suddenly on January 5, 2013. He was a graduate of Central High School class of 1959. He was a member of Teamsters local 413. John was preceded in death by parents John and Clara; children Jeffrey, Tamara and Jay; sister, Arlena Lyons; and niece Katy. He is survived by wife Linda; sons, John "Chip" (Arlene) Hargis Jr,; John "Boo" Hargis Jr,; daughter, Johnna (David) Koch; brother, William (Frances) Hargis; sister, Irene Salmons; brother in-law, Richard Lyons; sister in-law Paula (Roy) Parks; and grandchildren, Chelsea, Derrik, Alishia, Davey, Alissa, Dalton, Cloe', Darian, Jarae,Deandra, Lakai, Lataeia. John leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. Friends may call on Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL 3920 Broadway Grove City. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 1:00PM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 584 W. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43215. Fr. Kevin Lutz officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio.
