John B. “Jack” Horn, age 83, of Columbus, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, October 12, 2011. He was born on October 24, 1927. Jack was an Army veteran of WWII. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, oil painting and spending time with family. Jack was preceded in death by his father John Horn and mother Louise (Dana) Story Jack is survived by loving wife Marie Horn; daughters, Christine (David) Vicars, Karen (Tom) Hawker, and Myra (Patrick) Nelson; siblings, Jim (Karen) Horn and JoAnn Gambill; 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 5pm Monday, October 17, 2011 at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 West Broad St., Columbus, OH 43204 with a visitation an hour prior to service.
