John Kyle Lafferty

John K. "Kyle" Lafferty, 61, of Delaware, passed away on March 8, 2017. He was born on July 5, 1955 to Linley John and Mary (Rote) Lafferty. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Todd. Kyle was a 1973 graduate of Northland High School, and worked as the Supervisor of Building and Structures for Conrail for 24 years. He was very active in the Worthington Youth Boosters, and served as their commissioner at one time. He also loved golfing, watching movies, animals and being outside. Kyle's true passion was his family. He cherished his grandchildren and loved spending time together. Kyle will be deeply missed by his wife of 40 years, Karen M. (Kinstler) Lafferty; sons James "Jim" (Fiancee Brenda Mayne) Lafferty and Jeffrey "Jeff" (Stasha Dailey) Lafferty; sister Margo (Mark) Schildhouse; his much doted on grandchildren Brayden and Grace Lafferty; special friends John Serio and Noah, Isaiah and Gabriella Dailey; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2-5pm on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 North High Street. His funeral service will follow immediately after at 5pm.
