John M. “Jack” Redman, Sr., age 85, of Columbus, entered into eternal rest Thursday, December 2, 2010 at his home. A loving father and grandfather, Jack was also a proud U.S. Navy WWII veteran and member of the American Legion and VFW. Preceded in death by loving wife, Ruth. Jack will be missed by his sons, John (Diane), Kevin (Karla), Pat, Jimmy (Debbie), Terry (Lisa), and Mick; daughter, Erin; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy; and a host of extended family. Mass of Christian Burial 10am Monday, December 6, 2010 at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 1582 Ferris Rd., Columbus, OH, Fr. James T. Smith, Celebrant. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery. Family will receive friends Sunday from 3-6pm with a prayer service at 4:30pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd., Columbus, OH.
