John William Frank Stiles

John William Frank Stiles, Jr., age 77, passed away Monday, May 7, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born July 21, 1940 to the late Florence (Hanson) and John William Frank Stiles, Sr. in Columbus, Ohio. John was a devoted member of Meadow Park Church of God. He was a proud Army veteran of the Vietnam War. John especially adored his grandchildren and dearly missed his late grandson, Brandon "Bub" Smith. He was an avid fisherman who ate, drank and slept to fish with his family and friends. John loved to talk and meet new people. He was so social that anywhere he travelled he came across an old friend or made new friends along the way. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandson, "Bub". John is survived by loving wife of 52 years, Sharon (Dunaway) Stiles; beloved daughters, Tamara Lin "Tammy" (Tom) Tedrick and Tina Marie (Jon Campbell) Stiles; adored granddaughters, Kayleigh Marie Smith, Emily Maura and Alaina Lindsay Tedrick; his sweetest great-granddaughter, Anabell Lee Smith; brother, Ronnie (Betty) Stiles; his in-laws, Bill and Jean Dunaway; "adopted" son, Terry Williams; along with numerous extended family and friends. Family will receive friends from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, where a funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. Pastor Steven Almquist, officiating. Interment with military honors will take place at Kingwood Memorial Park in Lewis Center after the services.
