Joseph Walter Edwards

Joe Edwards, age 50, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019. He is preceded in death by his mother, Judith Rieser Edwards. Joe is survived by his loving wife, Shivani, of 15 years; beloved daughter, Sophia; faithful collies, Laddie and Hawkeye; sister, April (Austin) Logue; niece, Vivian; father, Doug Edwards; grandparents, Fred and Carol Rieser; and many other friends and family members. Joe was a psychologist currently working at Overbrook Clinic and over the past 30 years, he has touched thousands of individuals through his works, whether it was at The Buckeye Ranch, ADAMH Board, FCBDD Board, Star House, Horizon Prison Initiative or through the countless other organizations in which he was involved. His proudest accomplishment was being a great dad and husband to his daughter and wife. Most of all he believed that God loved EVERYONE. Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, February 3, 2019, at NORTHWEST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 5200 Riverside Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43220, where he was a long-time member.
