Joseph Reed Jenkinson

Joseph Reed Jenkinson, 81, died February 4, 2014 in Columbus, Ohio. He was born June 16, 1932 in Pomeroy, Ohio to the late William and Mildred (Cuckler) Jenkinson. He was a 1950 graduate of West H.S. and was employed with Jaeger Machine Company for 32 years and retired as a custodian from Grandview Schools. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, and tending to his vegetable garden. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, of 58 years, Betty. He is survived by children Steve (Debby) Jenkinson, Jeff Jenkinson and Julie (Jack) Green; grandchildren, Amy (Patrick) Raymond, John (Krista) Jenkinson, Rachel Green, Mike (Misty) Logan and Kyle (Amanda) Rockhold; great-grandchildren, Maria, Erin, Carlee, Austin, Skylynn, and Liam; beloved dog, Lilly; longtime friend, Ralph "Bud" Wise; and other family and dear friends. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8pm Sunday, February 9, 2014 and 9:30-10:30am Monday at the Schoedinger Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W. Broad St., Columbus where the funeral service will be 10:30am Monday.
