

Joseph “Joe” Leo Reinhard, age 87, of Galloway, went to his eternal home with the Lord on Tuesday, December 28, 2010. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on May 22, 1923 to the late Aloysius and Laura (Leach) Reinhard. Joe attended St. Charles Preparatory School. He worked as a dairy farmer with his dad, made home delivery of dairy products, and retired from Franklin County Engineers where he worked as a cartographer for 20 years. He was a church historian for St. Cecilia Church where he has been a lifelong member, was a member of the Catholic Records Society, the 50+ Club, and Knights of Columbus. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Florence (Gordon) Roush, Pauline (Marvin) Rinehart, Lucille Carroll, Helen (Robert) Atwood, Catherine (Howard) Pontius, May Berry, Robert Reinhard, and Lawrence Reinhard; and son in-law, Derrick West. Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Theresa “Betty” (Erdy) Reinhard; children, Teresa West, Joe (Vikki) Reinhard, Jim (Dana) Reinhard, and Mary (Dave) Jones; grandchildren, J.R., Anthony, Theresa, and Davis; and many nieces and nephews. Joe will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, dad, grandpa, and friend. Family and friends may call on Thursday, December 30, 2010 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 434 Norton Rd, Columbus, Ohio 43228 where Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 31, 2010 at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Lockbourne, Ohio. In lieu of flowers contributions in Joe’s honor may be made to St. Cecilia Catholic Church or Acclaim Hospice, 2800 Corporate Exchange Dr., Columbus, Ohio 43231.
