Joy Myers

Joy R. Myers, age 83, of Grove City, OH went to be with her Lord, Tuesday, July 26, 2011. She was born to the late August and Carrie Rose on February 9, 1928. Joy was a loyal, caring, and supportive mother and friend. She loved to bowl and had quite a collection of trophies to show for it. She enjoyed quilting as well as cooking and baking for family and friends. She was a member of Darbydale Nazarene Church. She played the organ for over 15 years. She will dearly be missed. She was preceded in death by parents, August and Carrie Rose; husband, Kenneth D. Myers; son, David Garnes; grandchild, Daryel Lee Garnes Jr.; brothers, Deward and Roger Rose. She is survived by children, Daryel (Bettie) Garnes, Debbie (Rick) Boggs, Butch Myers, and Rick (Nancy) Myers; 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; a host of extended family and friends. Friends may call 3-7pm Thursday July 28, 2011 at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL 3030 West Broad Street where the funeral service will be held 11am Friday July 29, 2011. Pastor John E.
