Joyce A. Watts, age 91, passed away Friday, March 24, 2023 after a long illness. She was born on May 13, 1931 to the late Russell and Odoline Leiter. Joyce moved to Columbus as a child where she spent the rest of her life. She was a devoted wife and mother to her three daughters. She loved to travel, was a member of the COMGO (Central Ohio MG Owners), was an avid gardener, was a member of Toast Masters for a number of years, was very creative and had a great sense of humor. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents Russell and Odoline Leiter and her husband of 69 years, Robert G. Watts. Survived by her daughters Kathleen Watts, Linda Watts, Susan (Kevin) Davis; step-grandson, Ian; four nephews; friends of the COMGO (Central Ohio MG Owners); and a host of personal friends made throughout her life. A gathering of family and friends will be from 6:00PM-8:00PM on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Advantage Funeral & Cremation by Schoedinger - Hilltop, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204 with Memorial Service on Friday, March 31, 2023 at 10:00AM with gathering of family and friends one hour prior. Graveside and inurnment will be held at a later date at Sunset Cemetery.
