Juanita Marie "Jan" Croft

Jan Croft passed away peacefully on March 19, 2019. She was born March 8, 1924 the third child of Oscar and Bessie Marie Roush, and grew up in Ross County, Ohio. She graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1944.

She married Frederick (Sandy) Croft on May 20, 1949 and they were married until his passing in 2011.

She is survived by her sons, Cole (Sonnie) Croft and Thomas Croft; grandchildren Tommy, Matthew and Ashley Croft (Michael McBroom) and Genevieve (Cesar) Moreno, and great-grandchildren Miguel Moreno, Dominic Moreno, Michael McBroom Jr., Adrian Sorrel, Sean Sorrel, Zayden McBroom, Emanuel McBroom, Alahani McBroom, Makhiya McBroom.

She was a longtime member of Glen Echo United Presbyterian Church where she was an Elder. She was a strong and broad minded woman, loved and respected by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held at the church at 11:00 o’clock on Saturday, March 23. The family will greet visitors after the service. Burial will be at Union Cemetery at 1:00 on Monday, March 25.
