Judy & I first became friends at St. Paul's School in Butler. Pa. I transferred into St. Paul's in the 5th grade and spent 4 fun-filled years in Judy's classes. We both attended Butler High School and although we were at the same school, I didn't see a lot of her, as we were separated by the alphabet (her last name started with a G and mine was an S and there were 695 in our class).  Then we were once again connected as we both attended Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Pittsburgh, Pa. Once again we were separated by the alphabet. But I remember many Sunday evenings riding back to Mercy from Butler in her Dad's car, my brother's car or someone else's dad's car (there were 7 of us attending Mercy from Butler). On these Sunday night 90 min. trips we discussed our trying week, working our butts off in the hospital, or discussing our teachers, or who was going to Oakland that week, hoping to catch the eye of one of the Pitt guys. It was an absolute pleasure to know and spend much time with Judy. I know where she is today--and I can now pray TO her and not FOR her!

Judy was special. We became pals while volunteering at St. Andrew 
Library. It's was a long time ago, but I couldn't  forget our fun times together. My deepest sympathy to the Sagone family.

Judy was one of my favorite volunteers at OSUMC. I remember the day that I interviewed Judy and she expressed an interest in volunteering in our Gift Shop.
After talking with her I felt she would enjoy delivering mail to our patients and that
would be a more rewarding experience. She said if she charged her wheel chair the
night before she came to volunteer there would be no problem. The patients so 
enjoyed her visits as she came two mornings a week. It was a real joy to present
her the prestigious Mary Shoemaker Volunteer of the Year Award for her many hours 
of service to the OSU Medical Center.

My condolences to Judy's family!  I went to St. Paul's School & Butler High with Judy.  A few weeks ago, I tried to find her phone number along with other classmates of yesteryear.  Had some great times with Judy---I  have thought of her often but left Butler years ago---a group of grade school friends are getting together in July & Judy will be in our thoughts & prayers. I am sure she & a few others will be looking down & laughing with us.

My deepest sympathy to Judy's family, her husband and children and especially to her sister Kathy and her husband Dave. Dave and I worked together for many years and talked about Judy often.
 I went to school with Judy at St. Paul's parochial school where we were classmates for all of our grade school years. I hadn't seen Judy for oh so many years and I happened to meet up with her at her 50th high school reunion. We had such a great time reminiscing about those grade school days. I know Judy is watching over all of you, so just know that she is in such a wonderful place and that we will all be there with her one day. God bless you all and my the Good Lord give you peace.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. I only knew Judy from her sister Kathy. Kathy and I work together. Judy would call here at work and we would always talk about shopping, and we all know kathy hates to shop. So Judy and I would always say how someday we would go shopping and leave kathy at home! JudyI hope they have mall's in Heaven so one day we can shop together.
