June B. Kidwell

June B. Kidwell, age 86, of Columbus, passed away with a brief illness on December 10, 2012 and is now with the Lord and her beloved husband, Warren G. Kidwell. She was born in Cambridge, OH on June 9, 1926 to the late Oscar and Rose Burgess, owners of Burgess Floral and Greenhouses. She was a graduate of Cambridge High School. She lived in Miami, Fl for a short period and moved to Columbus where she met Warren Kidwell while working at the Columbus Dispatch. The two were married and raised two beautiful daughters together. June loved to travel to Florida and participate in Shriners functions with her husband. She loved to work in the yard and plant flowers. She also enjoyed her soap operas. She was a loving, caring, and devoted wife and mother. She will be sadly missed by her loving daughters, Susan Kay (Bob) Klemann and Carol Ann (Fiance, Gary Bainter) Kidwell; grandchildren, Kimberlee M. (Brian Dwyer) Klemann and Christopher W. (Sarah Bosworth) Klemann; great-grandchildren, Evan Dwyer, Joseph Klemann and Alexander Klemann. In addition to her husband and parents, June was also preceded by her brother, Charles Burgess. A Special Thank You is extended to Wexner Heritage Hospice caregivers and staff for giving such wonderful care. Services are private.
