Karen Ann Seidel

Karen A Seidel, passed away on October 18, 2021 at the age of 72. Born on December 26, 1948, she spent 30 plus years as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the American Red Cross before retiring to enjoy spending time with family and her many hobbies. She loved to vacation, especially to Walt Disney World, Las Vegas, and the Outer Banks, NC with her closest friends affectionately known as “The Girls”. She was the unofficial travel planner for her family and friends, and loved sharing experiences with those closest to her. She was a deeply loved sister, aunt and friend and will be incredibly missed by all who knew her.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Charles (Dick) and Ruby (Herbert) Seidel. She is survived by her siblings; Rich (Donna) Seidel, Dennis Seidel, Peggy (Charlie) Redmond, Mary (Jim) McLane, Patty (Kelly) Stapleton, Nancy (Dana) Garfield, and Carol (Frank) Collura; nieces and nephews Nichole (Scott) Kay, Lexi Campbell, Melissa Seidel, Jack and Phoebe, Chad Redmond, Lincoln, Marceline and Nova, Sean Stapleton, Bridget Stapleton, Rachel (Chris) Jones, Lily and Scarlett, Abby Redmond, Ian Stapleton, Tony (Allison) Collura, Dominic and Caroline, Rocky (Sara) Collura, Cecilia and Carmen, Joe McLane and Alex; “The Girls” (Arlene, Chris, Denise, Karen, and Kris); and numerous cousins and friends from “The Circle”.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Karen's memory to the Mid Ohio Food Bank, Mid-Ohio Food Collective P.O Box 182883 Columbus, Ohio 43218-2883.

Visitation will take place Sunday, October 24th, from 2-6pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTH, 5554 Karl Rd, Columbus, Ohio 43229. Mass of Christian Burial at 10am the following morning at St Peter, Roman Catholic Church, 6899 Smoky Row Rd. 43235.

Guests are respectfully asked to wear masks and attendance will be monitored to ensure safety for everyone attending.
